Welcome to TasteNaija Vendor Program

This Vendor Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legally binding contract between TasteNaija (“Platform”, “we”, “our”, “us”) and you (“Vendor”, “you”, “your”) when you register to sell food products through our platform.

1. Role of Vendor

As a TasteNaija Vendor, you are an independent provider responsible for:

2. Commission Structure

Your earnings: 87.5% of each order

  • Commission is calculated on the final order value (excluding delivery fees)
  • No hidden fees or monthly subscription costs
  • Commission rates may be reviewed based on performance tiers

Manipulating ratings

❌ Serious Violations: Engaging in prohibited actions may result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of earnings, and legal action.

7. Account Termination

TasteNaija may suspend or terminate vendor accounts for:

  • Poor service quality – Consistent low ratings or complaints
  • Fraudulent activities – Fake orders, manipulated reviews
  • Health violations – Food safety complaints
  • Contract violations – Breach of this agreement
  • Inactivity – No orders for 90+ days (may be deactivated)

  • First violation: Warning issued
  • Second violation: Temporary suspension (7-30 days)
  • Third violation: Permanent removal from platform
  • Serious violations: Immediate termination without warning

8. Liability & Insurance

⚠️ Vendor Responsibility: Vendors are SOLELY responsible for:
  • Food safety and quality compliance
  • Proper food handling certifications
  • Kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
  • Customer food allergies and reactions
  • Any food-related illnesses or incidents
  • Compliance with NAFDAC regulations
🛡️ Platform Protection: TasteNaija acts only as a platform facilitator. We are not liable for any food quality, safety, or health issues arising from vendor-prepared meals. Vendors are strongly advised to obtain appropriate business and liability insurance.

TasteNaija reserves the right to withhold or reverse commissions where fraudulent, suspicious, or self-generated transactions are detected. TasteNaija does not guarantee earnings. Affiliate income depends on individual effort and market conditions. TasteNaija may modify commission structures, fees, or policies at any time without prior notice.
